Join Manas Itene for a special live performance, sound bath, and community drum circle. All ages, all levels welcome. 

Manas will be performing a live acoustic set of his original music new, old, not yet recorded, and from his latest album Give Thanks. The event will be opened by the lovely and intensional, Heaven Leigh Vrana, providing a sound bath. Manas will close out the afternoon with an incredible community drum circle to remember! 

Bring a drum or percussion instrument, (even a bucket will work!) for the epic drum circle! If you can't find anything, not to worry, we will have lots of extra percussive instrumentation to borrow! We will find something for everyone to join.

About Manas:

Manas Itene is a world renowned drummer and incredible vocalist on a mission to spread his uplifting music and message to the world. ‘One Accord’, Manas’ second studio album is an incredible compilation of reggae, pop and world-beat that will lift your spirits. The message is simple; we must always seek beauty and unity in a world that is constantly showing hopelessness.

Manas has been onstage drumming with Michael Franti & Spearhead for over two decades performing for audiences of all sizes from Glastonbury and Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Paradisio to BottleRock. He has spent time in the studio with some of the greats, Mickey Thomas of Jefferson Starship, Babatunde Olatunjii, bluegrass great and grammy-award winner Peter Rowan just to name a few. He has also shared a stage with Don Carlos, Mickey Hart of the Grateful Dead and many more.

Manas is a self taught drummer and a gifted vocalist. At age 6 Manas began creating his own drum set on the streets of a small town in Nigeria with all he could find, an umbrella skin and a tin. He lived next door to a music venue and would peek through the door learning all he could from the music world and boldly asking to sit on the drum kit and practice. Manas made his way to the big stage with Nigerian reggae sensation, Mandators at just 16 years of age.

Manas lives for music and the drum kit. He is a motivated and focused musician and continues to instill his lessons and values on the younger generations offering one-on-one mentorship and lessons. Since the release of One Accord in the summer of 2021 Manas has been taking to the road, stripping it back and spreading the joy in backyards and events centers across the US. With an epic performance followed by a drum circle for all skill levels. Manas is sharing the rhythm he plays to!

About the Sound Bath:

Heaven Leigh is a 200 hour yoga and meditation leader, with a focus on Inner Work. The belief that the restless or discontentment you feel, has answers for you within. Heaven uses energy work, tarot, movement, and sound to drop your nervous system into rest and digest, so that you may go on your own inner journey. Leaving you feeling grounded, centered, inspired, and ready to face life on life's terms.

FOOD DRIVE EVENT

All of our events are FOOD DRIVE EVENTS. Every show supports local programs battling food scarcity and feeding the hungry.

NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL or beverages of any kind. It jeopardizes our liquor license. We have offerings besides beer! N/A, G/F, Boozy slushies, Wine, Kombucha, Cider, Seltzer, Ginger Beer, Nitro Cold Brew Coffee house-made fruited lemonade... Water bottles are allowed/encouraged but all drinking vessels MUST be emptied upon entry. No exceptions. Backpacks+Bags are subject to search.

SEATING | SPECIAL REQUESTS:

Please arrive early for preferred seating. Be considerate of others, sit at tables appropriate for your party size and share. Chairs are not for stowage.

We receive many special requests to reserve seating. Please understand that we are unable to "hold" seats unless you are a large group coordinating multiple tables or have special needs requests. Thank you for your understanding.

All guests must respect their neighbor's personal space and healthy boundaries.

We will have a mobile restaurant catering partners on-site and off-site options for ordering in. No outside food and beverages of any kind allowed.
